Job Purpose and Impact

The Refrigeration Utility Technician II will perform general industrial maintenance and troubleshooting on the industrial ammonia systems with general knowledge or understanding of various systems and applications with regular guidance. In this role, you will utilize knowledge of various systems and applications in the ongoing and preventative maintenance of industrial ammonia systems to ensure the meet the environmental requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain all aspects of the facility's industrial ammonia system, including exposure to water treatment chemicals with some guidance.
• Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility receiving minimal guidance and instruction.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various systems and applications, such as computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Process Safety Management, wastewater systems and operations.
• Follow established processes and procedures to document completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts following standard production documentation.
• May contribute to projects and pursue continuous improvement opportunities according to business strategy and supervisor.
• Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned
