Position Location: Sitka, AK

Salary Range:  Full-Time Benefited $25.50-$30

Position Purpose:

• To provide plant maintenance and equipment operation related to the refrigeration system, thereby ensuring plant readiness for production periods with minimal down-time.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on refrigeration system
• Detect malfunctions through observation (Sound or Visual)
• Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality
• Repair broken or faulty machine parts
• Perform Emergency Repairs
• Follow safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience with large refrigeration systems.
• Mechanical aptitude, resourcefulness and troubleshooting skills are a necessity
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Problem-Solving and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads
• Ability to work long hours including overtime
• Ability to act competently in emergency situations
• Valid Driver’s License
