Experienced HVAC Installer & Service Tech

Lundberg Plumbing & Heating invites qualified HVAC Installers & Service Techs to join our Aitkin, MN based crew. With over 40 years in business, Lundberg has a long-standing commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We complete most plumbing and HVAC projects within a roughly 100-mile service area, focusing on thorough, code-compliant installations and dependable service work.

Position Overview:

This role combines field service diagnostics, repair work, and new equipment installation. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, safety-minded, and able to work independently or alongside crew members. Candidates must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation to support our customers when urgent needs arise.

Typical Job Duties:

1. Deliver professional HVAC service and repair for residential and commercial systems, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
2. Install heating and cooling units, including system start-ups and verification of proper operation.
3. Perform required operating and performance tests to ensure installations meet performance standards.
4. Fabricate and install ductwork for new installations and equipment change-outs, ensuring proper fit and airflow.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Valid, unrestricted Minnesota drivers license mandatory.
3. Minimum two years of documented experience as an HVAC installer and/or service technician.
4. Comfortable using diagnostic tools and applying technical knowledge to troubleshooting HVAC systems.
5. Knowledge of mechanical code and its application to installations and repairs.
6. Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule.
7. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
8. Flexible schedule to accommodate project timelines and customer needs.
