Cornell University is the largest and newest of the Ivy League universities, and our College of Engineering ranks highest among them. Ezra Cornell’s 1865 foundational vision of “any person, any study” is palpable in everyday life on campus, as faculty and students have access to an exceptional breadth of research and learning opportunities while immersed in an atmosphere of inclusive collaboration. The town of Ithaca sits at the southern tip of Cayuga Lake, the second largest in the Fingerlakes region of New York State. It combines breathtaking natural beauty and a small-town lifestyle with the cultural and culinary offerings of larger cities. The seasonal climate in this privileged setting allows for many outdoor activities, such as sailing, swimming, biking, hiking, skiing, or ice skating.
