The HVAC Accounting Specialist is responsible for all aspects of accounting for the HVAC service group, including invoicing, expenses, receipts, payments, auditing, and process improvement. This position is a critical member of the accounting team and plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the business.Requirements:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all job-related invoices.
- Track and reconcile all job-related expenses.
- Reconcile all receipts through business systems.
- Review and pay job specific invoices.
- Audit revenue and expenses.
- All other aspects of Service operational duties as needed.
- Work with the Service Manager to improve processes and business systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Two plus (2+) years of experience in accounting, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
