Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. Since 1968, NCS Corporation has provided critical measurement and consulting services to the U.S. nuclear power industry, specializing in the testing and servicing of safety-related Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. We are a small business in Columbus, OH.
Duties
- Perform field testing at nuclear power plants
- Complete the test results report and send it to the client
- Communicate with clients and customers
- Cross-train in all aspects within the scope of NCS Corporation
Requirements
- Hardworking and willing to learn and take initiative
- Strong communication skills, including written and oral
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel domestically: 25-40%
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, along with random screenings
- U.S. Citizenship and able to provide proof of citizenship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two- or four-year degree in physical science, engineering, or engineering technology is preferred (Years of equivalent/relatable experience in lieu of a formal degree is acceptable)
